About Us
LADA at Glebe is a not for profit, community focused organisation. It was established on 30th of June 1996.
It is the longest running Latin dance school in Australia and has sponsored World Vision children since 1998.
The late dance icon Jose Prates was head teacher from 1997 until his passing in 2004. Through Jose's influence, LADA has contributed in many ways to the development of the latin dance scene in Sydney. LADA's instructors and many of Sydney's prominent salsa teachers had their beginnings with LADA and Jose Prates.
Our commitment to authentic street Latin dance in a welcoming, fun community environment, remains clear, strong and passionate.
